Developing Adults Key Competencies by Improving their Socio-Scientific Literacy

The SSL4Adults project, supported by Erasmus+, empowers adults with the skills necessary for effective argumentation and moral reasoning among the complexity of socio-scientific issues such as climate change, health pandemics, and technological ethics. The project introduces four results: SSL4ADULT framework (PR1), an assessment tool to evaluate users’ literacy and reasoning capabilities (PR2), The SSL4ADULTS Training toolbox, a set of 18 diverse learning modules covering a wide range of subjects for low-skilled adults (PR3), and an interactive e-learning platform (PR4). These elements collectively aim to enhance adults’ abilities to critically assess and engage with controversial topics, promoting informed decision-making and lifelong learning in a rapidly changing world.
